Services
Carla Ganiel specializes
in strategy consulting for nonprofit organizations. Her areas of
expertise include strategic planning, performance measurement and
volunteer management. Carla is also an experienced trainer and facilitator
whose workshops have helped hundreds of people strengthen their
leadership skills and management expertise.
Background
Carla has managed a variety of nonprofit and national service programs,
including the Maine Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA Program and the University of Maine Cooperative
Extension Senior Companion Program. She earned a master's degree in public policy and management at
the University of Southern Maine's Muskie School of Public Service. She also completed two terms of
AmeriCorps service, providing health and safety training to migrant workers and establishing reading
and math tutoring programs in Down East Maine. As an undergraduate at the University of Maine at
Machias, Carla founded a writing symposium for high school students that is now an annual event. She
currently serves on the Maine Commission for Community Service.
